The Neptune Project
This Scan2Go submission includes excerpts from the development (and exhibitions) of The Neptune Project, a rephotographic project focussing on cultural change. It uses the Croatian Neptune Sardine Factory, now close, in the town of Komiza (on the island of Vis) as a starting point. The project as a whole will be built around rephotographs of archival records found at the Neptune site along with interviews (Oral Histories) from former workers and island residents. It will also include records of their lives and experience with the place.
